I don’t understand why, when it comes to cycling and clothing, designers put more effort into making a good looking piece of kit. Jesus skid is another example. Love the deep-v rims sticking out of the illustration like a halo and if Jesus himself wears it (see pic 2) means that it has to be good! For now it’s a one off handprinted, handpacked, handshipped piece, but more to come soon.

A nice idea and a contemporary style for James Gulliver Hancock, designer based in Brooklyn, that is drawing as many buildings as possible. Starting from his neighborhood and spreading to the city. Will he make it? You can back him up buying a very affordable piece of art on his blog:

I’ve been busy looking for cool coffee related items. I couldn’t resist to show you this amazing piece of art. A felt-tip marker, a styrofoam cup, patience. This is the work of Boey a Malaysian illustrator, now living in New Port Beach. I can look at them for hours while listening to my music, trying to understand the story behind them, and sure there’s always a story to tell.

Searching for a nice book cover it has never been so simple. On this website you can search by genre, author, designer and easily find a illustration to get inspired! Thanks to my friend Matt for the hint.

Look at this art installation. The video is self-explanatory. Stas Chepurnov used a plasma screen, a rotor and a dvd player. Amazing!
