This is really underground, not just because it’s on a Subway in NYC. Watch the video to find out more about this experimental project.

You can fall in love with London over and over again, and when you are sick of this town you either cross a bridge over the Thames and look out for the skyline, or sit on a double decker bus and look outside. If you’ve never done it before, director Moritz Oberholzer has put together a video that will speak more than my words.

I have to say that since Facebook is becoming overcrowded with unwanted feeds, I found twitter a more accurate alternative. The new thing for me is that “Follow” is the new “Like”.
You can now join me on Twitter but also on a new platform dedicated to blogs:
I don’t understand why, when it comes to cycling and clothing, designers put more effort into making a good looking piece of kit. Jesus skid is another example. Love the deep-v rims sticking out of the illustration like a halo and if Jesus himself wears it (see pic 2) means that it has to be good! For now it’s a one off handprinted, handpacked, handshipped piece, but more to come soon.

A nice idea and a contemporary style for James Gulliver Hancock, designer based in Brooklyn, that is drawing as many buildings as possible. Starting from his neighborhood and spreading to the city. Will he make it? You can back him up buying a very affordable piece of art on his blog:

Florian Jenett is an artist from Germany. The three clocks create a new geometry every second, but the hands allign to compose a perfect cube only once every twelve hours and only for one second. Behind this work there’s a complex piece of custom software developed in Processing. I suggest you to see more of his work here:

Another thing that Aussies are good at is… casual clothing! And if it’s related to stylish two wheels, then it’s one of my favourite. Iron Horse Clothing is a new Australian brand with a small range of organic cotton T-shirts with very trendy designs.
Brodie is a cool guy and a serial marketeer, go on his blog and read the post on how he managed to have world-wide famous Dj Richie Hawtin wear his brand. I hope he will hit the high street soon, for now if you want his cool tees, just add a flat $10 on the order and he will send them straight to your door, no matter where you live! Bargain.

I’ve been busy looking for cool coffee related items. I couldn’t resist to show you this amazing piece of art. A felt-tip marker, a styrofoam cup, patience. This is the work of Boey a Malaysian illustrator, now living in New Port Beach. I can look at them for hours while listening to my music, trying to understand the story behind them, and sure there’s always a story to tell.

It’s time for big chains to surrender to local independent cafe’. When will we find on the shelves antipodean looking action figures in hipster skinny jeans and fixed gears bikes (without interchangeable heads and cups maybe)?
See you for a latte! Oh, no sorry, a flat-white !
